The chosen chef for all Presidential and Prime Ministerial visits to India and has served over 75 including Donald Trump, Barack Obama, Nicholas Sarkozy, Vladimir Putin to name a few. Globally known as ‘The Prince of Chocolates’ and ‘The Bombay Chef’ by fans and followers worldover with an impression of over 733 million+ through his digital show ‘The Bombay Chef’ by Rajshri Productions making him number 3 in the world after Jamie Oliver and Gordan Ramsay.. Globally known as ‘The Prince of Chocolates’ he is the Cocoa Brand Ambassador appointed by The Government of Ecuador and is credited to have created India’s first-of-its-kind 6 ft tall Chocolate Mannequin and Chocolate Ganesha Idol.

Currently the Brand Ambassador nominated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for Swastha Bharat Yatra and Eat Right India. He is also a Guinness World Record holder for ‘The World’s largest Chocolate Mud Pie’ weighing 3000 Pounds. Over 30 food shows in 2016-17-18-19-20-21 across television, internet and several OTT platforms and guest feature in season 5&6 of MasterChef India on Star Plus . And now a ‘Pandemic baby’ – Mumbai Local Tawa – a restaurant in the heart of Mumbai city celebrating the city itself, its people and its food. And The Heritage street which is a Gourmet catering company curated to revive lost recipes! Very recently, he has been awarded by the state with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Gaurav Award 2021 for his contribution to the industry and humanitarian efforts. Food Stylist for over 45 cookbooks, 200+ and 400 Televsion and digital advertisements. Author of several cookbooks including the award wining Celebrate Life, Food & Wine – on pairing and cooking Indian foods with wines!

Monila Surana is the person behind the academy and possesses more than 15 years of experience in the fields of Baking, Culinary, and Confectionery.
